Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences

The Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland (Kalaidos UAS) is a University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland with the departments of Business and Management, Law, Health, Music and Applied Psychology. It was founded in 1997 and today is one of nine accredited Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences, being the only privately owned one. It has 4’122 students, 724 lecturers (as of December 31, 2020) and around 12’000 graduates. Kalaidos UAS is a foundation, which is a federally accredited University of Applied Sciences under Swiss law.

Kalaidos UAS has five departments with part-time degree programs. Full-time study programs are not offered. The Department of Business and Management offers various degree programs in the field of business administration. The Department of Health was established in 2006 and has undergone several restructurings since then. Today, various degree programs for nursing professions are offered. The Department of Music offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in music education. The Department of Law, Kalaidos Law School, offers a Bachelor of Law as well as various advanced training courses. With the foundation of the Department of Applied Psychology at the beginning of 2022, Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences is establishing a fifth department. This new department will offer training and continuing education as well as research and services in Applied Psychology.
